S. J. Fowler leaves GMAC Franchise

Times Change and we change with it!  As we continue to be the best we can be, we make decisions based on the information available at the given time.  Now that the internet has so much to offer many of the items offered by franchises are easily obtainable with a click of a few buttons.  In addition many agents are doing there best to brand themselves.  There is also the independence factor for both the brokerage and the agents.  Franchises, brokerages and Agents will still have to spend money on marketing, advertising ETC:  The difference is how that cost is allocated.  Is it national or local.  For now we would prefer to keep it local at the discretion of the brokerage or agent.  S. J. Fowler will continue to offer full service and continue to improve the offering to agents as well as the public.

Sales Volume is up and looks to continue

Our Sales are up as well as listings, we are not only selling Homes but lots of Apartment Buildings as well.  Even our newer agents are closing not only conventional sales but Short Sales and REO’s as well.  We expect business to be brisk for those who have the eye of the tiger.  In addition New Homes are selling!!

Market News by S. J. Fowler

Market is changing, more modifications being completed. Inventory down a bit.  Foreclosures still looming.  Short Sales hot, but traditional sales coming back, Reduction in lender owned sales. On the commercial front, sales still in question, we need financing.  Watch for seller carryback properties as they are out there.  Commercial leasing should be active due to tenants downsizing and looking for less expensive space.  New home sales picking up and expected to even get better.
